Practical language and inner steadiness for navigating family tension with sabr, without losing yourself in the process.

Doctor & faith-centered mindset coach
Medically trained, but this is coaching — not diagnosis, therapy, or treatment. If something belongs with a clinician, I'll say so gently.
The Sister Behind the Sanctuary
Assalamu alaikum, I'm Rida Zayn — a doctor by profession and a sister who understands what it feels like to carry a full life, a demanding calling, and a heart still searching for stillness. Years in medicine taught me that healing is rarely only physical: so much of what weighs on us lives in the mind, the habits we repeat, and the way we speak to ourselves.
That's what led me to faith-centered mindset coaching for Muslim women. This niche exists in the gap so many sisters fall into — where secular self-help doesn't speak to the soul, and spiritual advice alone doesn't hand you the practical tools for a hard week. Here we hold both: du'a and daily structure, tawakkul and boundaries, sabr and steady, honest progress.
My philosophy is simple, and it comes straight from the clinic: understand before you advise. In medicine you never treat a symptom without first asking what sits beneath it — and the same is true of exhaustion, low motivation, or a heart that feels distant from Allah. So we begin by listening properly. We look at your sleep, your load, your relationships, your worship, and the story you've been telling yourself, before we change anything at all.
From there I work the way I was trained to: small, evidence-shaped steps, reviewed honestly, adjusted without shame. Medicine teaches you that lasting change is rarely dramatic — it's the modest habit kept consistently that heals. It also teaches confidentiality, careful boundaries, and knowing when something belongs with another professional. I carry all of that into coaching, so you're held with structure as well as warmth.
What makes this faith-centered rather than clinical is where we anchor. Your worth isn't a target to earn; it's already given by Allah. Sabr isn't passivity, tawakkul isn't inaction, and rest isn't a failure of discipline. We use Islamic principles as the frame and practical mindset tools as the method, so your growth and your deen pull in the same direction instead of competing.
In our sessions I bring a clinician's calm and a sister's warmth — gentle, confidential, judgement-free. We work on emotional wellbeing, motivation, difficult family dynamics, and rebuilding a relationship with Allah that feels nourishing rather than heavy. My hope is simple: that you leave each conversation clearer, lighter, and more certain of your own worth, in shaa Allah.
At a glance
Best for: the sister who is quietly doing a lot — studying, working, mothering or all three — who wants practical structure without losing her deen in the process, and who'd rather be understood than lectured.
A little reassurance before you reach out — about how I work, what stays private, and what applying actually involves.
Medical qualifications are shared for background only. Sessions here are faith & mindset coaching, not medical care.
Medical background
A doctor by profession, with years of clinical listening, assessment and duty-of-care practice behind every conversation.
Coaching Muslim women
One-to-one work with sisters navigating burnout, marriage and family strain, motivation dips and spiritual dryness.
Faith-integrated method
Islamic principles — sabr, tawakkul, ihsan — paired with practical mindset and habit tools you can use the same week.
Specialties
Tap a specialty to see what a session looks like
Every sister's path is her own, and change comes at its own pace. Still, these are the shifts that tend to appear over time, bi idhnillah.
A little more clarity
Space to name what's actually going on, so decisions feel less tangled and the next step becomes visible.
Habits that hold
Small, realistic routines shaped around your life — the kind you can keep on a tired week, not only a good one.
A gentler reconnection
Worship that feels like relief rather than another task, and a kinder inner voice as you return to Allah.
Every 40-minute session moves through the same calm rhythm — from understanding, to goals, to habits, to faith-centered reflection.
Understanding
We start with your story, not a template. What's weighing on you, what you've already tried, and what you actually want life to feel like.
Goals
Together we name one or two goals that are realistic for your season — worded in your language, measured by peace as much as progress.
Habits
We translate the goal into small, repeatable actions that fit your day — tiny enough to keep on a hard week, steady enough to compound.
Faith-centered reflection
We close by anchoring the work in tawakkul and sabr — how this step draws you nearer to Allah, and how to return to it gently when you slip.
The rhythm stays the same; the pace is yours. Some sessions linger in understanding, others move quickly to habits — both are normal.
So nothing feels unfamiliar, here's how a call usually unfolds — and the little you need to bring.
Settling in
We begin gently — a salam, a breath, and a simple question: how are you really doing today? No performance, no need to have it all figured out.
Getting to the heart of it
We unpack what's actually going on beneath the surface — the thought, the fear, the pressure or the habit — and look at it with honesty and rahmah rather than blame.
One clear next step
We close with something small and doable for the week ahead: a habit, a boundary, a du'a, or a shift in how you speak to yourself — chosen by you, not prescribed at you.
What to prepare beforehand
If you'd rather keep your camera off, that's completely fine. Sessions run to time, and you're never pushed to share more than you're ready to.
Coaching is powerful within its lane. Being clear about where that lane ends is part of caring for you well — so here is what sits outside my scope, when to involve a licensed professional, and how I handle a referral if one is needed.
Medical or psychiatric care
Diagnosis, medication, dosage changes, or advice on physical symptoms.
Please go to: Your GP, consultant, or psychiatrist.
Psychotherapy or trauma treatment
Treatment for PTSD, eating disorders, OCD, addiction, or unprocessed trauma.
Please go to: A licensed therapist or clinical psychologist.
Crisis and safety concerns
Thoughts of self-harm, suicide, or being unsafe where you live.
Please go to: Your local emergency number or a crisis line, straight away.
Religious rulings (fatwa)
Binding answers on halal/haram, marriage, divorce, or inheritance.
Please go to: A qualified scholar or your local imam.
A referral is never a rejection. It simply means the support you deserve sits with someone trained for it — and you're welcome back to coaching whenever the time is right. If you're in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services now.
A few honest answers about pace, patience, and what happens when the path isn't a straight line.
Coaching supports mindset and habits; it isn't medical or mental health treatment. If something heavier is present, I'll gently point you toward the right professional.

This is a faith-based mindset coaching service. We do not provide therapy, medical treatment, psychological or psychiatric diagnosis, or emergency mental health care, and coaching is not a substitute for any of these. If you are experiencing a serious mental health condition — including severe depression, suicidal thoughts, abuse, psychosis, or addiction — please seek support from a licensed mental health professional or your local emergency services. With your wellbeing in mind, we may decline an application or pause coaching if your situation would be better served by clinical care.

You'll see a confirmation on screen as soon as it sends. Your answers are stored privately and read only by me — nothing is shared, published or added to a mailing list.
I go through each application myself, unhurried, and check that what you're looking for is genuinely something coaching can help with. If it isn't, I'll say so kindly and point you somewhere better suited.
